RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS

You may use any credit or debit card to pay for the rental; however, a credit card must be presented at the time of vehicle pick-up.

1.SUBJECT: This Rental Agreement is entered into between the Lessor Company (hereinafter referred to as the “Lessor”), legally represented for the signing of this Agreement, and the Renter, whose details appear on the front page of this Agreement. It is governed by the following terms and those stated on the front page. By entering into this Agreement, the Lessor rents to the Renter the vehicle specified on the front page (hereinafter referred to as the “Vehicle”).

2.DURATION: The duration of the Rental Agreement begins on the date and time of signing and delivery of the Vehicle and ends on the date and time of its return and delivery to the Lessor’s representative, as stated on the front page. The minimum rental period is 24 hours. The Renter is obliged to return the Vehicle to the Lessor’s representative at the stated date, time (max. +30 minutes), and location. Any modification requires the Lessor’s written consent. Returns/delays exceeding 30 minutes from the stated time will be charged as an additional day.

3.RENTAL FEE – CHARGES:
3.1 The rental fee of the Vehicle is stated on the front page and fully corresponds to the rental value and agreed duration. The Renter acknowledges and waives any right to dispute or request a reduction. The rental fee may be modified if any of the basic rental elements agreed upon in advance (indicatively: rental duration, additional services/coverages such as extra kilometers, additional driver, etc.) are modified after signing. The full rental fee is prepaid before delivery of the Vehicle.

3.2 The rental fee includes: a) third-party liability insurance for bodily injury and property damage, b) 24-hour roadside assistance throughout Greece, excluding island repatriation which is charged to the Renter according to the roadside assistance company’s terms, c) VAT and local taxes, d) minimum mileage allowance of one hundred (100) kilometers per day (stated on the front page), e) replacement of the Vehicle with another available vehicle regardless of class and engine capacity in case of breakdown/accident.

3.3 The rental fee does not include any amount, expense, or service not stated in paragraph 3.2 or on the front page. Indicatively but not limited to: a) fuel, which is fully borne by the Renter. Fuel level at return must match delivery (as stated on the front page), otherwise fuel consumed plus €10.00 refueling service fee plus VAT will be charged (no refunds for unused fuel), b) extra kilometers beyond 100 km per rental day. The Renter shall pay per extra kilometer plus VAT as per the Lessor’s official price list, unless agreed otherwise in writing on the front page, c) additional insurance coverages unless agreed and stated on the front page, d) fines for violations, illegal parking, and administrative penalties during the rental period, which must be paid by the Renter and proof provided; otherwise, the amount plus €15.00 administrative fee plus VAT will be charged, even at a later date without time limitation.

4.SECURITY DEPOSIT: The Renter must pay a security deposit determined by the Lessor according to the Vehicle category, as stated on the front page. The deposit is held during the rental period and returned without interest at the end, provided all obligations have been fulfilled.

5.DELIVERY – COLLECTION – RETURN:

5.1 The Vehicle is delivered on the date and time stated on the front page. The Renter must inspect the Vehicle inside and out with the Lessor’s representative before use, note any damages on the Damage Report, and return it in the same condition and with the same fuel level. Signing constitutes proof of delivery and acceptance.

5.2 Deliveries/collections are free of charge at company offices Monday–Saturday 09:00–19:00. Outside working hours, Sundays, holidays, or outside office locations incur extra charges.

5.3 The Vehicle must be returned clean and ready for inspection; otherwise, a €20.00 + VAT cleaning fee applies. Specialized cleaning (tar, pet hair, etc.) has a minimum charge of €80.00 + VAT.

5.4 The Lessor bears no responsibility for personal items left in the Vehicle.

6.TERMS OF USE:

6.1 The Vehicle may only be used according to this Agreement and driven only by the Renter and/or authorized drivers listed on the front page. They are fully liable for any damage, loss of use, legal expenses, etc., resulting from violation of these terms.

6.2 The Renter and authorized drivers must take proper care of the Vehicle and immediately notify the Lessor of any malfunction. Repairs or interventions without prior written approval are prohibited.

6.3 The Vehicle is strictly prohibited from being used: i) by unauthorized persons, ii) by persons under 23 or 25 years depending on category, iii) without valid license or license issued within last 12 months, iv) if license was revoked in the previous year, v) for hire or reward, vi) for towing, vii) in races, viii) subleased, ix) overloaded or transporting hazardous/illegal goods, x) on non-paved roads, xi) outside Greece without written approval, xii) on ship/train without written approval, xiii) under influence of alcohol/drugs, xiv) in violation of Greek Traffic Code, xv) for illegal acts, xvi) for driving lessons, xvii) beyond rental period without written approval, xviii) in violation of any term herein.

7.ACCIDENTS – DAMAGES: In case of accident or damage, regardless of fault and insurance, the Renter must: a) immediately notify Police (100) and Lessor and request Accident Care service, b) collect witness details, c) not admit liability, d) collect and submit all documents/photos and the Traffic Accident Report. Failure to comply makes the Renter fully liable for all damages and repair days, even with insurance coverage. In case of fault, the Renter is charged 30% of annual insurance premium (minimum €100.00) plus €30 file expenses plus VAT.

7.1 In all damage cases, a damage handling fee plus VAT as per official price list applies.

7.2 Repairs must be carried out only at the Official Authorized Dealership in Greece.

8.INSURANCE COVERAGE:

8.1 Insurance applies only if the Vehicle is used in full compliance with this Agreement. Otherwise, the Renter and authorized drivers are fully jointly liable.

8.2 The Renter must fully compensate for any damage not covered by the included insurance or agreed additional coverages, up to the commercial value of the Vehicle at the time of the incident plus VAT, including recovery, storage, and loss of use.

8.3 The Renter may limit liability to €1,500.00 + VAT minimum by accepting the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) at the start of the rental, as stated on the front page. The deductible amount is determined by category and rental days. This waiver is invalid if any term is violated.

8.4 Insurance and CDW do not cover: a) underbody damage, b) keys, antennas, mirrors, interior parts (audio system, navigation screens, parcel shelf, upholstery, etc.), c) tires, rims, hubcaps, glass, unless separately agreed.

9.LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Lessor is liable only in cases of intent or gross negligence. In all other cases (including slight negligence, force majeure), the Lessor bears no liability.

10.RIGHT OF SUBSTITUTION: The Lessor may assign rights and obligations to a third party by written notice. The Renter may not assign rights or obligations.

11.BREACH OF TERMS:

11.1 The Renter and authorized drivers are jointly and severally liable for full compliance.

11.2 In case of breach or false information, the Lessor may either continue or terminate the Agreement and claim full damages and unpaid rentals. Upon termination, all debts become immediately due.

11.3 If the Renter terminates early, prepaid rentals remain with the Lessor as a fair penalty.

11.4 The Agreement terminates automatically upon death, legal incapacity, dissolution, liquidation, bankruptcy, insolvency, or seizure affecting the Renter.

12.NO WAIVER: Failure or delay in exercising rights does not constitute waiver.

13.JURISDICTION: Courts of Thessaloniki have exclusive jurisdiction.

14.GENERAL PROVISIONS: All terms are essential. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement and supersedes prior written or oral agreements. Headings are for convenience only. If multiple Renters, they are jointly and severally liable.

15.AMENDMENTS: Any amendment is invalid unless made in writing.
